These sessions are designed to help you get the most from your BERNINA. Explore specialty feet and accessories, discover new techniques and build confidence with features you may never have tried. There’s so much more to Foot Club than learning about a foot!
In each session, Kellie will clearly demonstrate how the featured feet or accessories work, sharing practical tips to help you improve your sewing. Learn new skills, ask questions and troubleshoot difficulties with the techniques being covered.
These are demonstration sessions, each running for approximately two hours. You do not need to bring your machine. If you would like help with a specific issue related to the session’s topic, please contact us beforehand to arrange to bring it. Assistance is subject to available time.

Thursday 4th February
Interface & Programming your machine
Do you know all of the securing stitches that are available to you on your machine? Do you know how to program your machine so that it behaves in the way that you want it to? This is a great session for those of you who may have forgotten or perhaps never knew quite what your machine was capable of. This is a class you wont want to miss!

1/4" Feet
Mastering a 1/4" seam isn't just a matter of installing a foot. In this class we will examine the wide variety of 1/4" feet available to you, determine which one best suits you and your machine. We will look at stitch selection, foot pressure & how to save your own personal settings to make reproducing the perfect 1/4" stitch & seam a breeze! Do not miss this session!

Mastering the Walking Foot
In this session we will demystify the walking foot and uncover the many different applications of this extraordinary foot. We will look at not only quilting applications but also its clever use when matching stripes. You will also take home some fun suggestions for straight line quilting patterns for your next project.
Thursday 6th May
Free Motion Feet Including #72 the Ruler Work Foot and Bernina Stitch Regulation(BSR)
From the number 9 and 24 feet to the BSR! This session will cover it all. How to get the most from your machine when it comes to free motion. We will also take some time to examine the BSR in our Q Series machines & how to maximise their potential, perfect if you haven't seen these machines in action before. We will also look at various other factors that will help you with free motion, including spray basting, marking & also cover some basic free motion patterns. A very informative session!

Zipper Feet
This humble little foot will take you from finishing an edge to installing the most perfect zipper! Who would have thought? We will also look at the regular zipper foot and the invisible zipper foot. A session filled with lots of very useful information!

All things Buttonholes
This class will cover buttonholes, sewing on buttons and the effective use of the Creative Consultant to assist you to obtain the best possible result with your next project. We will take a look at corded buttonholes, stabilisers & feeding aids to help you achieve a perfect buttonhole every time!

Flat Folded Hems & Invisible Hems
Create a professional finish to garments & bags. There are many feet available in the flat folded hem range, learn which one to use and when to use it.

Gathering Foot
Create even gathering & ruffles like you never thought possible and finish it all off with the most perfect edge stitching! Absolute perfection!

This session explores piping and pintuck feet, with tips and tricks for achieving a professional finish.

Everything you ever needed to know about Needles!
Selecting the correct machine needle is a very important element in achieving a perfect result with you sewing project. This is a huge topic and you will learn so much at will help you with all of your future sewing tasks.
