Join Kellie for a Rose of Sharon machine embroidery sew along. In each of the five monthly classes, we’ll make a different block. At home, you can repeat that block as many times as you like to build your quilt and practise what you’ve learnt.
 
That repetition is where the confidence grows! By using the same techniques again between classes, you’ll become more comfortable with your machine and build your skills in machine embroidery appliqué. We’ll use fused appliqué finished with blanket stitch or straight stitch, not our usual satin stitch finish. These session will help you perfect your hooping skills, knowledge regarding stabilisers and trouble shooting when it comes to machine embroidery. Make as many blocks as you need for the quilt size and layout you prefer.
 
This is lovely opportunity to enjoy a shared monthly project while bringing your own personality to a traditional design. Join like minded Machine Embroiderers, sharing the creative, learning journey as everyone’s quilts take shape.
 
Please note that this is a stylised sketch of the quilt and there will no doubt be some changes made to the final blocks, however, it does provide a good representation of the what the quilt will look like.
 
Classes will be held from 10am to 3pm on the following dates;

The cost of each session is $110 payable in advance of each class, this includes all the digital embroidery files you will need each class. The payment made to secure your place in this class covers the first class only. By booking into this subscription class you are agreeing to pay for 5 sessions, regardless of attendance.
Fabrics, tools and threads to complete the quilt will need to be purchased additionally to class costs.
