The Botanica Quilt was the Treehouse Textiles 2022 Block of the Month quilt.
The Botanica Quilt is a more complicated design with a combination of appliqué, hand piecing, and machine sewing. This quilt is great for those wanting to make something more involved and detailed. It has a beautiful spiral pattern with a combination of Liberty of London fabrics and low volume fabrics. The Botanica Quilt is a wonderful opportunity to use smaller pieces of Liberty of London fabric to create a delicate and soft quilt. 
 
This quilt uses a range of sewing techniques such as needle turn appliqué, bias making and thread-basted English Paper Piecing (EPP). The Botanica Quilt top also has the option of being hand sewn or machine sewn. 
 
This quilt is a beautiful and satisfying project to complete.
